Wilmington: The Delaware humane Association held their annual “Tails Around The Tower” fundraiser this morning from 10:30 to 2. The event was not just for the dogs, but the whole family. Mike Rossi from WSTW was in attendance and added his special brand of humor to the festivities.
The approximate one-mile walk around the park by dogs and their people was just one part of this event—a fun atmosphere, dressed up dogs, music, refreshments, pet-oriented vendors, the always popular Pet Contests, adoptable dogs from DHA, and more.
This year the Association invited people to walk in memory or honor of a person or pet who is special to you.People were encouraged to bring a photo and write a message on the Memorial Banner.
