Wilmington: Wilmington Police are on the scene of an unknown incident in the 200 block of E. 16th Street. A request for the ERT team was made by arriving officers shortly after midnight. ERT are known as the Emergency Response Team. Their role is deal with tactical situations including hostage and subject negotiations.

Around 12:30 A.M. Police began setting up a perimeter and began negotiating with the subject. It is unknown why the subject is not cooperating with police or why or how they came in contact with each other.

It is highly recommended to stay away from the area, and also to expect N. Walnut Street closures.
