Police say a man who turned himself in on Thursday was officially arrested for multiple robberies.
Dover: According to Master Corporal Gary Fournier, a police spokesman, Shaiheme D. Edwards was arrested for six counts of Robbery 1st, five counts of Conspiracy 2nd, six counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, five counts of Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Weapon with a Removed, Obliterated, or Altered Serial Number, Terroristic Threatening, and Resisting Arrest.
He was arraigned at JP2 and remanded to the Delaware Department of Corrections on $772,000.00 secured bond.
According to police spokesman, Master Corporal Gary Fournier, moments after their initial press release on Thursday, Edwards turned himself into State Police at Troop #4 in Georgetown.
Before his arrest, Edwards was wanted in connection for his involvement in at least six robberies that were committed within Delaware State Police jurisdiction.
