The Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred in the town limits of Magnolia early last night.
MAGNOLIA: Police say around 9:05 p.m., Thursday April 6, 2017 three male subjects entered a side door of a residence located in the unit block of West Walnut Street. One of the suspects that was armed with a shotgun stood at the side door while the other two went to a nearby bedroom where they confronted two 24-year-old males. The two suspects forcefully removed an undisclosed amount of cash and marijuana from the victims before all three fled the residence. None of the male victims were injured during the confrontation.
The three suspects were only described as males. The first was reported to be approximately 5’10” – 5’11” tall, 150-165 lbs., wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and a black mask. The second suspect was described as being approximately 5’08”-5’11” tall, weighing 250-300 lbs., wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt. The third suspect was described as being approximately 6’00”-6’03” tall, 170-185 lbs., wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and armed with a shotgun. No further physical or clothing description available.
According to police spokesman, Gary Fournier, Detectives have determined through preliminary interviews and investigation that this was not a random act and believe the victims may have been targeted in the home invasion.
