Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Wilmington area bank branch and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
TALLEYVILLE: Police say they are investigating after Troopers were summoned to the PNC Bank located at 4411 Concord Pike on Monday at about 4:30 P.M. for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect, who was described as a black male, was 25-30 years of age and approximately 6’00” tall with a thin build approached a male teller and presented him with a demand note for cash.

According to police spokesman, Jeffery R. Hale, The note implied that the suspect was armed, however, no weapon was displayed. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him. The suspect then exited the bank and fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries, Hale said.
