Delaware State Police need your help in locating Daniel V. Berquist of Fredericksburg, VA following a pursuit in a stolen car.
MILLSBORO (DE): Police say 32-year-old, Daniel V. Berquist of Fredericksburg, VA, fled from a traffic stop on Saturday, Nov 11th after leading them in a short pursuit on John Williams Hwy in Millsboro.
According to Melissa Jaffe, just after 2:15 P.M., a trooper was patrolling the area of John J. Williams Highway and Banks Road in Millsboro, to locate a stolen motor vehicle out of Millsboro Police Department.
The stolen vehicle, a beige 1998 Toyota Avalon was located by the trooper traveling on eastbound John J. Williams Highway and a brief pursuit ensued. The vehicle then came to a stop at the entrance to Holly Lake Campground, when the operator jumped out and fled on foot into the campground area, Jaffe said.
After further investigation, the suspect was identified as 32-year-old, Daniel V. Berquist of Fredericksburg, VA. Berquist is being charged with Disregarding a Police Officer Signal, Resisting Arrest, and Driving Without a Valid License.
