A 17 year-old Wilmington boy has been arrested for a string of robberies that occurred over the past year along the Concord Pike (U.S. 202) corridor, in the Fairfax area of Wilmington.
WILMINGTON (DE): Police say, during these robberies, the suspect would disguise his identity before entering the business, and then present a demand note upon making contact with an employee. In two of the robberies, the suspect displayed a handgun to compel the victims to turn over cash.
In all of the reported robberies, the suspect fled on foot into the subdivision of Blue Rock Manor/Fairfax South.
According to police spokesman, Michael Austin, beginning on Monday January 23, 2017, the Delaware State Police began investigating and through various investigative measures Cody Bowman-Moak, 17, of Wilmington was developed as a suspect and a search warrant was executed at his residence. As a result of the search, detectives located corroborating evidence linking him to the below listed robberies.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, Bowman-Moak was arrested and formally charged with 6 counts of Robbery 1st Degree and 5 counts of Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony. He was subsequently committed to the New Castle County Detention Center in lieu of $140,000 secured bail.
