Portion of Old Baltimore Pike to be Closed for Drainage Improvements

Bear (DE): The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that a portion of Old Baltimore Pike will be closed just east of SR 72/Wrangle Hill Road to Salem Church Road. DelDOT’s contractor, Mumford and Miller Concrete Inc. will be removing and replacing the existing drainage system.

The roadway is scheduled to be closed at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 19 until 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, pending weather.

Detour signage will be posted for motorists.

Motorists may adjust their routes or travel times by using DelDOT’s Smartphone application.
