35 year-old man shot in Dunleith

New Castle County Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the community of Dunleith.

NEW CASTLE (DE): Police are investigating after a 35-year-old man was shot in the community of Dunleith and arrived at Wilmington Hospital shortly after 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.

According to police spokeswoman, Heather Carter, officers were summoned to the Wilmington Hospital for a report of a man who arrived with gunshot wounds to the leg. Patrol officers were then dispatched to the community of Dunleith where detectives have taken over the investigation.
