New Castle County Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrested a University of Delaware police officer for child abuse.
NEW CASTLE (DE): On Thursday, New Castle County Detectives arrested a 29-year-old University of Delaware police officer and charged him with misdemeanor child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

The charges are the result of a NCCPD Criminal Investigation that Police are not releasing much details about.
According to police spokeswoman, Heather carter, “Innocent’s arrest is not related to the University or his employment as a University of Delaware Police officer.”
29-year-old Bernard Innocent was arrested on charges of 3rd degree child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. Innocent was arraigned and released on $2,000.00 unsecured bond with a no contact order.
