NEWARK (DE): With the construction of the brand-new Whitney Athletic Center underway and new resources being added each year, the investment in the athletics department is evident now more than ever before.
The baseball program will see that investment first hand this spring with the addition to lights to Bob Hannah Stadium for the first time ever.
“This is an exciting time for our program and the start of the new light project at Bob Hannah Stadium. We can sense the excitement with our current players and expect this to add to our already outstanding facilities for our program,” head coach Jim Sherman said. “Night baseball is coming this April. How great is that!”
The first ever night game at Bob Hannah Stadium is set for Friday, April 5thwhen the Blue Hens host CAA rival William & Mary.
