Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester responds to a Zoom hack that happened while she and others were on a virtual meeting to help African-American business owners in Delaware.
The Zoom meeting was hacked with racist language, Nazi imagery and graphic pornography during Wednesday’s meeting.
The meeting was a virtual information session to encourage African-American businesses, churches and not for profits to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program. The program is a $349 billion federal program that launched this month to help small businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Zoom meeting included Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, small business leaders and several members of the Delaware Legislative Black Caucus.
The incident occurred nearly an hour into the Wednesday evening Zoom meeting.
