New Castle (DE): Police are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash involving multiple vehicles that occurred just before 10:00 p.m, this evening, at the intersection of South DuPont Hwy. and Hamburg Rd., New Castle.

As a result of the crash, South DuPont Hwy. is closed in both directions. Police ask motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
