A 43-year-old Wilmington man has been charged with murder related to a stabbing death that occurred Wednesday morning in Wilmington’s West Side.

Wilmington (DE): Wilmington Police located 32-year-old Kevin Ramos in the 200 block of N. Lincoln Street shortly after 3:00 am suffering from stab wounds on Wednesday morning.

Ramos was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries., according to Wilmington Police spokesman Dave Karas.

Karas said that during the initial investigation, police detained 43-year-old Kelly Roberts. Detectives were able to identify Roberts as a suspect in the incident and arrest warrants was obtained.

Roberts has been charged with the following offenses:

• Murder (Second Degree)
• Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $800,000 cash-only bail.
