The Delaware State Police are currently conducting a death investigation that occurred early this morning.
Georgetown (DE): Police say they are investigating a death after troopers were dispatched to the 28000 block of Johnson Road in Georgetown Sunday morning.
In a news release, police did not specify why they were dispatched to that location or how they learned of the death.
“The Delaware State Police and the Delaware Division of Forensic Science are working in conjunction to determine the manner and cause of death.”, said police spokeswoman, Heather Pepper, “The investigation into this incident by the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit is in its early stages. There are no traffic or public safety concerns related to this incident.”
As with any death, The identity of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of the next of kin.
