Wilmington Police investigating shooting that injured a 36-year-old man Thursday evening

The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition

Wilmington (DE): Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Thursday evening in the 100 block of E. 24th Street in Wilmington.

Police say the shooting occurred just before midnight.

According to police spokesman, Dave Karas, “Police located a 36-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.”
