Multiple people stabbed during fight near Newport Monday morning

Three people were stabbed and transported to a local hospital where they were treated and released according to police.

Wilmington (DE): New Castle County Police say they are investigating after multiple people were stabbed near Newport early Monday morning.

According to a news release, police was dispatched to the 300 block of Maple Hill Rd near Newport for a large fight.

Police found three victims suffering from what officers said were consistent with stab wounds.

There’s no word on what started the fight or if any arrests have been made.
