The New Castle County Police are currently searching for 2-year-old Jayden Schiavello and 3-week-old Audrey Schiavello, missing from the area of the 3000 block of Old Capitol Trail.

NEW CASTLE (DE): Police are searching for the parents of two children who skipped a Family Court Hearing early Thursday morning. The parents were scheduled in Family Court for a hearing but never showed., according to police.

“Earlier today, officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were notified by New Castle County Family Court and the Division of Family Services that the parents of 2-year-old Jayden Schiavello and 3-week-old Audrey Schiavello,  failed to bring them to NCC Family Court for a hearing.,” said police spokesman Michel Eckerd.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at Headquarters and assumed the investigation.  Subsequently, a Child is Missing has been initiated by the detectives., Eckerd said.

The parents, 25-year-old Donald Schiavello and 23-year-old Julia Barba are believed to be operating a tan 2007 Chevy Tahoe (DE reg C9271).
