Police have identified a man who was shot in the chest at a home on Pennsylvania Avenue Tuesday morning as David W. Parcher, 70 of Milford.
MILFORD (DE): Police say it was just before 4:00 Tuesday morning when they were dispatched to a home on Pennsylvania Avenue in Milford for a report of a shooting. There, they found the victim, 70-Year-Old David W. Pratcher with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Police say they are investigating the shooting as a suspicious death.
“The victim was transported by staff from the Carlisle Fire Company to the Bayhealth Sussex Campus.,” said police spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten.
Police say the victim succumbed to his injuries and was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed.
