Wilmington Police are investigating two shooting incidents Friday night that has injured two people and bringing Wilmington’s gun violence tally to 7 shooting incidents this week.
WILMINGTON (DE): Police are investigating two shooting incidents that has injured two people Friday night.Police say one of the victims arrived at a local hospital in stable condition and the other had to be transported.
Police say the first shooting happened at Wilmington Police say the shooting happened just before 8:00 Pm. in the area of 24th and Carter Streets in Wilmington’s east side. Police say an 18-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds, when police arrived at the hospital, the victim was listed in stable condition.

The second shooting happened at 29th & Washington Street just before 11:00 Friday night. That shooting injured a 26-year-old man. Police say he was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

This makes the seventh shooting incident since Monday that has injured two teens and five adults.
