Police say they responded to the area after receiving calls from a group of pro-life demonstrators that a man had pulled a handgun on the group.
DOVER (DE): Dover Police say they have arrested a 31-year-old Wilmington man after they say he brandished a handgun at protesters then hid the gun in the trunk of a vehicle just before officers arrived.
Police say the incident happened at the Dover Planned Parenthood in the 800 block of S. Governors Avenue Friday shortly before 10:00 a.m.
Police say they responded to the area after receiving calls from a group of pro-life demonstrators that a man had pulled a handgun on the group.

Police later identified the suspect as a 31-year-old Wilmington resident, Jerome Aniska.
Witnesses to the incident told police following the incident, they saw Aniska go the trunk of his vehicle prior to their arrival.”
“Officers investigating the incident learned that Aniska engaged with the pro-life demonstrators that were on the public sidewalk and an argument ensued.,” said police spokesman Mark Hoffman. “During this argument, Aniska pulled out a black handgun and made a threatening statement to the group.”
Hoffman said “Officers located an empty holster in the center console of the vehicle and located a black 9mm handgun in the trunk of the car.”
Aniska was released on $26,000 unsecured bond on
Aggravated Menacing (2x), Terroristic Threatening (2x), Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony.
