Police say they located the 11-year-old who was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
WILMINGTON (DE): Wilmington Police say they are investigating a shooting this morning that injured an 11-year-old Wilmington girl.
Police say the shooting happened in the 700 block of North Jefferson Street around 10:45 a.m.
Police say they located the 11-year-old who was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
This makes the 5th person shot in the city of Wilmington since Friday and the first child shot under the age of 18 since August 11, 2020.
