Several people are lucky today after escaping serious injuries during a traffic accident in Bear earlier today.

BEAR (DE): Police say it was just after 2:00 P.M. this afternoon when First Responders and Delaware State Police were dispatched to a rollover crash on Church Road at Pulaski Highway.

The rollover crash involved a sedan and a Mercedes., police say.

The Mercedes rolled over however, it’s not known if the two vehicles impacted at the time the Mercedes rolled over, or if the Mercedes was trying to avoid the impact and struck the median before rolling over.

The median on Church road that stretches to the stop line at the light is known to cause these types of accidents.

According to police spokeswoman, Heather Pepper, there were no injuries in the crash.

Police had one lane closed on Church Road for a short period of time.
