Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week has been a high-profile event for fine dining in the Brandywine Valley for seven years.
WILMINGTON (DE): It’s starting to get colder out there and the days are becoming shorter and shorter, as fall and a cold front begins to move into our area and amid the pandemic, a lot of city events have cancelled but some exceptions have been made.
The mayor has allowed some of those events so long there were monitors in place to keep those not wearing masks or adhering to social distancing guidelines in check. Sadly, all those wonderful summer events we have all been enjoying are slowly disappearing and so will the 7th Annual Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week which will be ending on Thursday October 22nd.

The 11-day restaurant event started Monday. The event was scheduled to end on the 18th but was extended until the 22nd. “Our restaurants are doing a fantastic job,” said the Mayor. “They have been welcoming customers all summer in a safe, socially distanced way, and we are impressed by their resilience and commitment to their customers and the community.”

Brandywine Valley’s premiere restaurateurs invite guests for seventh annual Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week. The region’s best chefs and local owners are inviting diners to the Brandywine Valley’s top restaurants. This year’s lineup has also been expanded, featuring 18 of the region’s premier restaurants.

The 2020 edition of BVRW enables guests to dine as they are most comfortable — eat in, dine outside or take meals home — and is an ideal opportunity to connect with friends and try new restaurants. BVRW will also showcase the diversity and depth of the quality of dining options in our region. This restaurant collaboration enables guests to sample the creative cuisine of these fine dining spots at special price points — prix-fixe lunch for $15; prix-fixe dinner for $35.
