The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is asking for the assistance of the public in connection to the 1993 murder of Linda Ann Moody Armstrong.
On January 5, 1993, police located Ms. Armstrong, 35, in the 1600 block of Bowers Street, near what is now the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution. She had last been seen entering a pickup truck with two unknown males, and died from wounds she sustained during a fight with the two suspects.
This investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are asking the public for assistance.
