Delaware State Police say they are investigating a shooting after a 26-year-old man was shot Friday night while riding a dirt bike.
BEAR (DE): Delaware State Police say a 26-year-old man who was riding a dirt bike on Pulaski Highway near Buckley Boulevard was shot in the leg around 10:30 p.m. Friday evening.
After being shot, the victim went to a nearby Wawa where he was treated by New Castle County Paramedics and transported by Christiana Fire Company Ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The victim was the only person injured during the incident, police said.
Police have no suspect information at this time.
