New Castle County Police have identified the victim in this homicide as 25-year-old Qasim Felder.
NEW CASTLE (DE) 11/14/20: New Castle County Police say they are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Friday night in the community of Appleby Estates.
Police say the shooting happened around 4:00 p.m. at Estates Drive and Conlin Court.
According to police spokesman Michel Eckerd, “Officers discovered one male gunshot victim. Despite life-saving efforts by officers and New Castle County Paramedics on scene the victim was pronounced deceased at an area hospital.”
Update 11/16/20: On Monday, New Castle County Police identified the victim as 25-year-old Qasim Felder.
It’s unknown if the shooting occurred on the street corner or inside of a home.
