NEWARK (DE): Detectives from New Castle County Division of Police are investigating a double homicide in the Hunters Crossing Apartments near Newark Saturday night.
New Castle County Police say officers were dispatched to the apartment complex just after 9:00 p.m. in the area of Fairway Road for a report of a shooting.
Responding officers discovered a 23-year-old male, and an 18-year-old female suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately started life savings efforts however, both victims died from their wounds.
UPDATE: Police have been able to identify them Monday December 21, 2020, as 23-year-old Allen Huff and 18-year-old Iris Longakit.
