A 46-Year-Old man was shot and killed Monday afternoon Wilmington Police say.
WILMINGTON (DE): Police say they were called to the area in the 200 block of North Dupont Street to investigate a report of a shooting around 3:30 p.m.
According to a news release, officers located a 46-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. After being treated by EMS and New Castle County Paramedics, the victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Later that night, police were able to identify him as 46-year-old Michael Parker.
Parker is the second person who have died as a result of gun violence in Wilmington during the month of December, two others were injured during the same period.
