33-year-old man dies after being shot in Wilmington Monday night

Police have identified the victim in this shooting as 22-year-old Ismail Drummond.

WILMINGTON (DE): A 33-year-old Wilmington man is dead after being shot in Wilmington Monday night.

Police are investigating the shooting which occurred just before 6:00 p.m. in the 2800 block of North Claymont Street.

According to police, officers located the victim. He was treated on scene by EMS before being transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
