Officers arrived and located a brutal scene and that’s when they found a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
NEWARK (DE) 012121: 38-year-old, Marcello Williams is facing several charges including Murder after being arrested at a brutal homicide scene in Newark Thursday night police say.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the unit block of Risa Court in the community of Salem Woods to investigate an assault complaint but when officers arrived, they discovered something totally different. A Homicide scene and in it, lay a victim who was stabbed multiple times.

Officers discovered the victim, who was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. After being treated by New Castle County Paramedics and local EMS, the victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Police say, the suspect, who remained at the scene, was taken into custody.
Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.
The detectives were able to charge the suspect, 38-year-old, Marcello Williams, with one count felony Murder 1st, one count Felony Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony and one count Felony Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited.
Police have not released a motive for the assault but say the investigation is still active and in its early stages.
