Double shooting in Wilmington leaves one dead Thursday night

Police did not release any other details citing the incident remains under investigation. 

WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: 43-Year-Old Levonne Kellam.is dead and another woman in stable condition after being shot in Wilmington’s Price’s Run neighborhood Thursday night.

Wilmington Police say they are investigating the shooting which occurred just after 7:00 p.m. in the 600 block of East 22nd Street.

Officers located 43-year-old Levonne Kellam, who was transported to a local area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.  Officers also located a 50-year-old female who was suffering from wounds sustained during the shooting. She was also transported a local area hospital and is listed in stable condition.  

Police did not release any other details citing the incident remains under investigation.
