Police say they are investigating a homicide after a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the Paladin Club community Friday night.
WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: New Castle County Police say a man with multiple gunshot wounds was found Friday night in the Paladin Club.
Police say they are investigating after a report of ‘gunshots in the area’ came into the New Castle County 9-1-1 Center.
Officers were immediately dispatched to the area and a discovery of a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds was made in the unit block of Clifton Park Circle, in the community of Village Park at Paladin Club.
“When the officers arrived, they discovered a male subject who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.,” Said police spokesman Michel Eckerd.
Police say the victim was transported to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Police say the investigation is active and ongoing and additional updates will follow.
