Gun violence killed a 44-Year-Old Wilmington man Friday night Wilmington Police says.

WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: A 44-Year-Old Wilmington man is dead early Friday night and Wilmington Police say gun violence is what killed him.

Police say officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 19th Street just after 9:00 p.m. where they found the victim suffering from gunshot wound(s).

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was treated at the scene before being transported to a local area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police released no other details about the shooting citing “the incident remains under investigation” and ask anyone with information about this incident to contact Detective Brandon Mosley at (302) 576-3646.
