Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that injured two people Wednesday night.
WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: Two people were injured during a Wednesday night shooting, one critically, Wilmington Police said in a news release this morning.
Police say officers were dispatched around 10:00 p.m. to the 2300 block of Carter Street for a report of a shooting.
Officers located a 22-year-old female gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Police also located a 46-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police gave no other details about the shooting but said the incident remained under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
