Wilmington Police are investigating a double shooting that injured two people Thursday night in Wilmington.
WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: Wilmington Police are investigating yet another double shooting that occurred in Wilmington’s Southbridge neighborhood late Thursday night.
Two people were shot including a 13-Year-Old girl. Both are in stable condition at a local hospital. It’s the latest in double shootings that is angering residents and causing alarm.
It happened Thursday in the 400 block of Buttonwood Street around 11:45 p.m.
Officers located a 24-year-old male gunshot victim and a 13-year-old female gunshot victim, who were both transported to a local area hospital in stable condition., police said.
Police did not release any other details about the shooting, saying the incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

Since April 2, 2021, four people have been injured and two have been killed in Wilmington. The past two days alone have injured four people and killed one.
