One person is dead and police are searching for clues in an early Saturday evening shooting just one block from a police station.

PAULSBORO (NJ) BY DIGITAL STAFF: One person is dead as police in Paulsboro, New Jersey investigate the deadly shooting.

Police say they were called to Delaware and Adams Street just before 4:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

Arriving officers located one victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

While police released no other details about the shooting, investigators were seen interviewing numerous people however, police made no arrests.

The shooting was just one block from a police station. Delaware Newsline arrived at the scene to find officers still running down the street towards the crime scene.

Police released no other information about the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
