Delaware State Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead on the side of a road with an apparent gunshot wound Saturday night.
BLADES (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: The Delaware state Police criminal investigations unit is conducting a homicide investigation Saturday night after troopers found a 20-Year-Old man lying on the side of a roadway with an apparent gunshot wound.
Police say troopers were dispatched to the area of E. 4th street in Blades around 10:50 p.m. for a shots fired complaint.
According to police, During the investigation, troopers discovered a 20-year-old male lying on the side of the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
His name was not released because his next of kin had not yet been notified which is a common practice of law enforcement agencies around the country.
