NEWARK, DE (DNTV): Delaware State Police say they have arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile, of Newark, for felony assault and weapons charges following a shooting last Thursday at Salem Village Square Shopping Center that injured a 19-Year-Old female.
Investigators determined the identity of the shooter, a 16-year-old male suspect.
On July 6, 2021, officers from New Castle County Police Department located the 16-year-old suspect and took him into custody without incident.
The investigation into the shooting began Thursday July 2, 2021 when troopers were summoned to the Cigarette Outlet located in the Salem Village Square Shopping Center for a report of a shooting that had occurred.
