Police say they were notified that the body of a 23-year-old male was located inside of a vehicle in Delaware County Pennsylvania.
WILMINGTON, DE (DNTV): New Castle County Police say Sean Tyler is behind bars after being on the lam for more than a week.
Last Friday, July 16th, Tyler was apprehended by officers from the NYPD in Coney Island, NY. He was transported to a local NYPD precinct where he was later met by detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit.
The detectives charged Tyler with one county of felony Murder First Degree, and one count of felony Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited.
Currently, Tyler is pending extradition back to Delaware.
On July 11, 2021, New Castle County Police began investigating a homicide in Alban Park after a body was located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Police say they were notified that the body of a 23-year-old male was located inside of a vehicle in Delaware County Pennsylvania. Investigators say that his death was a homicide and the incident occurred at a residence in the 1600 block of Coleman Street in the community of Alban Park.
Detectives developed 28-year-old Sean Tyler as the suspect in this investigation and arrest warrants have been obtained for murder in the 1st degree and related charges.
Sean Tyler is a black male, 5’07, and approximately 182 lbs. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. If located, members of the community are advised to avoid contact with him and call 911.
