After being treated on the scene by EMS, the victim was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition.
WILMINGTON, DE (DNTV): Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that critically injured a 29-Year-Old Wilmington man Thursday night.
Police say the shooting happened around 9:00 p.m. in the 200 block of North Clayton Street.
Officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving a 9-1-1 call about shots being fired. When officers arrived they located a 29-year-old male gunshot victim laying in the street.
After being treated on the scene by EMS, the victim was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition.
Police said the incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
