Wilmington Police are requesting the assistance of the public in locating a suspect wanted on murder, weapons and other serious charges.
WILMINGTON, DE (DNTV): Wilmington Police are requesting the assistance of the public with locating Markevis Clark who was recently indicted by a New Castle County Grand Jury.
Clark is wanted on murder, attempted murder, gang participation, conspiracy and weapons offenses. Clark, 19, is 5’8”, weighing approximately 209 pounds.
Police say Clark should be considered armed and dangerous and members of the community are advised to avoid contact with Clark if he is seen and dial 9-1-1.
Clark, was indicted by a New Castle County Grand Jury in June along with 13 other individuals who the Department of Justice says were members of the NorthPak gang.
The indictments came following a months-long, multi-agency investigation.
The 14 defendants are facing more than 120 criminal charges stemming from their involvement in the Wilmington-area gang NorthPak, according to the Delaware Department of Justice.
The indictment is the culmination of a six-month long investigation involving the Department of Justice, Wilmington Police Department, and New Castle County Police Department, with support from the Delaware State Police, the Delaware Department of Correction, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
