REHOBOTH BEACH (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: An accident at Funland in Rehoboth Beach injured three teenagers Sunday night around 8:00 p.m. while riding on the Super Flip 360 ride police said in a news release.
Police say officers from the Rehoboth Beach Police Department were dispatched to the amusement center at 201 S. Boardwalk, for a report of injuries resulting from an industrial accident.

Officers arrived and found three injured people, one of which was in serious condition. All three individuals were juveniles, two females ages fourteen and fifteen, and one male age sixteen., police said.
Two patients were stable and sent to Beebe Healthcare, and one was taken to Christiana Hospital with a head injury, said Glenn Marshall, public information officer for Sussex County EMS.
In an email update from Funland, Fiona Curry said the injured guests were not riding on the Superflip 360 but were in the vicinity when the accident happened.
“The incident occurred in the vicinity of the Superflip 360 at approximately 7:45pm, though the injured guests were not riding the attraction, initial efforts have determined that injuries resulted from an air storage tank failure. We are actively investigating this incident, working with local authorities and industry professionals, and we cannot release any further information at this time.”
