Woman rescued following Saturday storm surge from Nor’easter

Following Saturday’s Nor’easter, a woman had to be rescued after storm waters rushed from the Christina River near Wilmington’s Southbridge neighborhood where the river borders. The woman appeared shaken but uninjured as rescue workers from Wilmington Fire Department and Holloway Terrace Fire Company brought her to safety on a Dinghy boat.
