15-Year-Old Wilmington girl in critical condition after being shot

The teen, who was shot just before 12 noon, was located by arriving officers suffering from gunshot wounds.

WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: A 15-Year-Old Wilmington girl is in critical condition after being shot in the city’s eastside Friday morning.

Police say the shooting happened just before 12 Noon in the 800 block of Kirkwood Street.

According to police, the teen was located by arriving officers suffering from gunshot wounds. She was treated by EMS and Paramedics before being transported to a local area hospital in critical condition.

Police released no other details about the shooting but said the incident incident remains under investigation.
