On Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 at approximately 7:00 a.m., police responded to a shooting at 7 Amstel Drive, in the William Penn Village Apartments in New Castle, Delaware. When police arrived they located the victim, later identified as Kelvin Powers (30), inside the apartment suffering from a multiple gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, the victim died at the scene.

The Unit typically handles cases that have remained unsolved after a year, and after all investigative leads have been exhausted by the primary investigator.
