1990 Murder Of Lena Lorraine Thomas (27)

On Sunday June 10, 1990, Delaware State Police responded to Cypress Branch Road, in Magnolia, Delaware for a report of a body in a field.

When Troopers arrived, they located the deceased body of 27-Year-Old Lena Lorraine Thomas in a barley field.

Investigators say the Victim’s body was discovered in a barley field was stab wounds. Victim Thomas was reported missing by her husband on Friday, June 8, 1990. Approximately one month later the Victim’s car was found off of Long Neck Road in Dover.

This investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are asking the public for assistance. Anyone with information about this cold case investigation is encouraged to contact the Delaware State Police Cold Case Division.
