On Monday August 12, 2013, Delaware State Police responded to the 4100 block of New Castle Avenue, New Castle, Delaware for a report of a shooting that had just occurred. Troopers arrived and located 32-Year-Old Medford Holmes and his brother who was suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators say The Victim and his brother were shot following a dispute with another group of people. His brother, who was not identified survived the shooting.
