On March 16, 2022, just before at 2:00 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of N. Jefferson Street regarding a shots fired complaint. Officers located 24-year-old Sarpee Collins, who had been shot and succumbed to his injuries.
This investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are asking the public for assistance.
