18-Year-Old Wilmington teen critically injured during Monday shooting

An 18-Year-Old was critically wounded during a Monday night shooting in Wilmington’s 9th Ward Neighborhood, police said Tuesday morning.

WILMINGTON (DE) BY DIGITAL STAFF: Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 5:58 p.m., in the 2400 block of North Madison Street. 

Police say officers located an 18-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.  

Police say the incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible and are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Michael Wilkerson at 302-576-3638. You can also provide information to Delaware Crime Stoppers at ‪1-800-TIP-3333 or ‪delawarecrimestoppers.org.

The Wilmington Police Department Victim Services Unit is available to provide support, information and referrals to those who are victims of crime, and can be reached at ‪(302) 576-3622.
